Noen ganger må kort lages i en fei, da er det kjekt med kort som er enkle, men likevel gjør litt ut av seg. Dette er et forsøk på et sånt kort, laget til overraskelsesinnlegget vi hadde for Mo Manning på Mo’s Clubhouse-bloggen i går, da hadde hun nemlig bursdag.
Sometimes, cards need to be made quickly. On such occasions, it’s nice to be able to create cards that are simple that still have a bit of detail. This is an attempt at such a card, made for the birthday surprise blog post we had for Mo Manning on the clubhouse blog yesterday.
Jeg har fargelagt Peaches med Copics og valgt en kombinasjon av turkis og grått på kortet mitt denne gangen. At jeg har brukt ark fra Maja Design kommer vel ikke som noe sjokk, det er arkene 1934, 1935 og 1946 fra Vintage Summer Basics-kolleksjonen jeg har tatt for meg denne gangen. Selve kortbasen er stanset ut med en die fra Nesting Frames 8-settet til Lifestyle Crafts.
I colored Peaches with Copics, I went for a combination of turquoise and gray this time. It’s no surprise that I went with Maja Design papers. 1934, 1935, and 1946 from the Vintage Summer Basics line are the ones I chose this time. I diecut the cardbase using a Nesting Frames 8 die from Lifestyle Crafts. 
Jeg stanset ut selve motivet med en sirkeldie og satte det på et scalloppanel etter at jeg hadde stemplet poststempler fra Marianne Design litt vilkårlig med Soft Granite-blekk fra Hero Arts. Typisk med mine kort er vel blomster, så jeg fant en haug med hvite roser og roseknopper som jeg ville bruke. Jeg airbrushet noen av dem med BG71 (selvlaget Copic) så fargen skulle matche resten. Til slutt limte jeg på en drøss med perler fra Kaisercraft.
I diecut the image with a circle die and glued it to a scalloped circle after stamping post stamps from Marianne Design here and there with Soft Granite ink from Hero Arts. I tend to use a lot of flowers on my cards, so I found a few white roses and rosebuds that I wanted to use. I airbrushed a few of them using BG71 (color I’ve made myself) so the colors of the flowers would match the rest. Finally, I glued on a bunch of Kaisercraft pearls.

I popped my double panel up on foam tape, and to the right in the photo you can also see a little bit of the Kort & Godt lace I added underneath the image.
Innsidene lagde jeg meget enkle, kun papir og stempler. Det gjorde at jeg kunne kutte ryggen til kortet mitt ned til 1/8″. Oslo-stempelet fra Marianne Design har jeg stemplet med Aqua Mist-blekk fra Papertrey Ink. New York-stempelet fra Magnolia er stemplet med Soft Granite fra HA, og bursdagsteksten, som kommer fra Over Under Easy-settet til Papertrey Ink er stemplet med Memento Tuxedo Black.
I made the insides very simple, just used paper and stamps. As a result I could cut down the spine of the card to 1/8″. I stamped the Oslo stamp (Marianne Design) with Aqua Mist ink from Papertrey Ink, the New York stamp (Magnolia) with Soft Granite from HA, and the birtday sentiment, which is from the Over Under Easy stamp set from Papertrey Ink, in Memento Tuxedo Black.
